Experience Delivers Quality
LRI History LLC, formerly Legislative Research & Intent LLC, was co-founded in 1983 by Carolina Rose, a Stanford Law School graduate. This was preceded by 7 years of intense, hands-on work in the California State Legislature, during which time she had personal responsibility for over 200 bills. After answering countless questions about the legislative history and intent of her office’s legislation, she decided to start her own legislative research company with a strong focus on quality and depth. Ms. Rose directed a talented team of researchers and personally designed and oversaw all of LRI’s research methodologies until her retirement in 2015. Her commitment to excellence remains the driving force behind every LRI research report. Lisa Hampton is now at the helm, after having started with the company as Research Director in 2003. She earned both History and Political Science degrees from Illinois Wesleyan University, and puts both to good use in her new position as President of LRI.
